| Description | For chemotherapeutic treatment of malignant tumors there are so called chemotherapeutic regimes defined. These are simply treatment schemes describing which combination of cytostatics and doses should be applied for given oncological diagnosis. These regimes are published in scientific reviews, monographs and guidelines. Within the DIOS project (Dose Intensity as Oncological Standard), those regimes defined by the Czech Oncological Society were digitized, formalized and published on the web portal http://dios.registry.cz. An electronic library of chemotherapeutic regimes has been created. The library is also equipped with interactive web tools that can be used by both students and oncological professionals to try planning and evaluation of chemotherapeutic treatment. Moreover, the parametrization and database processing of CHT regimes itself offers easy searching and classification. This can be used to support practical lessons, various demonstrations during lectures or for self-study. |
