Description This study report the results of phakic IOL surgery in a series of children with neurobehavioral disorders and ametropia 10 D or greater. Our results indicate that phakic IOL implantation using the Verisyse/ Artisan lens is a highly effective method for correction of high ametropia in spectacle-noncompliant children. Its specific application will be in children with ametropia outside the range of +6 to -10 D.
