Description Recently, implant systems in stomatology have been trying to create such an element which would prevent possible bone resorption and at the same time biologically promote quick in-healing of an implant. Nowadays there are many implant systems. These differ in surface finish, material and design. At the center of our effors has been design of an implant, and thus an implant system which would have an anti-rotary unit for anchoring the abutment. Another priority is to define, test and construct threads which would be safe and harmless towards the cortical layer of the bone. A standard material for implants and a standard surface finish were both determined. By means of 3D models of this implant type, the possible action of forces was objectivized. We then evaluated an implant in pre-clinical trials on pigs with an hydroxyapatite surface finish.
