Description The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of photodynamic therapy (PDT) with verteporfin for classic subfoveal neovascular choroid myopic membranes.The study group of patients with myopic CNV consisted of 28 subjects, 17 women and 11 men, mean age 58.6 years. Average follow up period was 19.1 months. All patients before treatment undergone general ophthalmologic examination, visual acuity was determined on the ETDRS optotypes, size and type of CNV was determined OCT and FAG examination. PDT was performed without reduction.Photodynamic therapy with verteporfin is in our experience,effective and non-invasive method of treatment of classic neovascular choroid membranes.
