Description Enlargement of the left ventricle leads to higher susceptibility to ischemia-induced arrhythmogenesis. Although rabbit represents a popular model for cardiac studies, little is known about ischemic tolerance of rabbit hearts with enlarged left ventricular mass. Aim of this study was to compare tolerance to repeated ischemia in isolated rabbit hearts with different left ventricular mass and its impact on QRS morphology.
