Description The aim of this thesis was to evaluate the influence of 12 weeks of combined exercise training on physical performance, indicators of transport system capacity and quality of life in 88 patients with chronic ischemic heart disease in relation to their body weight. 12 weeks of combined exercise training lead to an increase of physical performance in all of the patients and to an increase of transport capacity in patients with chronic ischemic heart disease and lower values of Body Mass Index. Subjectively perceived quality of life improved in all groups of patients.
