The Faculty of Medicine has become a coordinator of a prestigious MSCA Doctoral Networks project in Horizon Europe. The primary goal of the network is to train the recruited fellows by participation in an internationally competitive research programme and integrating them into the aforementioned networks.

The Simulation Centre of the Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University has produced its first results. More than 5,000 students have already passed through the most modern facility of its kind in Europe in just four years since the foundation stone was laid and after four semesters of teaching medical and healthcare programmes.

Almost 70 applicants from all over the world applied for two postdoctoral positions offered at the Faculty of Medicine. The best applicants selected by the faculty committee will go to the research groups of Dr. Jan Krivanek and Dr. Pavel Krejci.

Practically and theoretically guided workshop called "Pelvic reconstructive surgery - anatomical, clinical and surgical workshop" was held on 28^th April 2022 at the FM MU for both students and doctors in specialisation training in gynaecology and obstetrics.

An interview with Volodymyr Porokh from the Department of Histology and Embryology FM MU, who is developing an experimental model from human stem cells for the purposes of pharmacological and toxicological testing as part of Proof of Concept project MUNI-BLAST with the team of the main researcher Zuzana Holubcová.

This programme is designed as a part of our Intensive 2 Week Summer School, where multiple courses from a wide of Masaryk University study programmes and departments will be offered.

Part of the visit of the Ambassador of South Korea to the premises of FM MU was a meeting with faculty management representatives and Korean students. That was followed by a tour of the University Campus Bohunice, finishing at the FM MU's Simulation Centre (SIMU).

On 29^th March, Minister of Education, Youth and Sports Petr Gazdík presented appointment decrees to a total of 80 new professors. Four of them work at the Faculty of Medicine MU.

The 11th year of the Brno Ph.D. Talent programme was interesting with the high participation of our students. Fourteen students from Masaryk University were awarded, seven of them from the Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University.
