Description	Hereditary thrombocytopenias are a rare and heterogeneous group of disorders, associated with approximately 30 causal genes involved in the process of megakaryopoesis and thrombopoesis. Pathological mutations lead to disruption of these processes and origin of thrombocytopenia.
