| Description | Dent disease (DD) is a rare X-recessively linked renal tubulopathy primarily affecting males. The disease is classically characterized by a triad: low molecular weight proteinuria, hypercalciuria and nephrocalcinosis / nephrolithiasis. Range proximal tubule dysfunction is variable in patients with DD and is common in them usually other findings - glucosuria, aminoaciduria, phosphaturia, uricosuria, calliuresis and proximal renal tubular acidosis. |
