Computational models of neurological disorders

We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join our interdisciplinary team at the forefront of advancing computational models of neurological disorders. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research aimed at unravelling the complex mechanisms underlying e.g., seizure propagation in epilepsy. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing and refining computational models to simulate neural dynamics and information transmission for translation to clinical application. Our project is situated at the intersection of computational neuroscience, neurology, and applied mathematics, offering a rich scientific growth and collaboration environment. The selected researcher will leverage state-of-the-art computational techniques, including machine learning, neural network simulations, and dynamical systems analysis, to explore the pathophysiological basis of neurological disorders. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in computational neuroscience, applied mathematics, or a related field, with a proven track record of research excellence. We value creativity, critical thinking, and the ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team. This postdoctoral position represents an exceptional opportunity to contribute to a meaningful understanding of neuropathology to impact the lives of those affected.
