| Popis | Gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST) are rare mesenchymal tumors with typical expression of thyrosinkinase receptor c-Kit (CD 117). The treatment is surgical in the first place; in cases of inoperable or metastatic disease targeted therapy is used. The article comprises data about patients with GIST and treatment results collected from the registry reGISTer from Czech and Slovak republic since 2006. |
